The Constellation Live project for Delaware North Parks & Resorts at KSC, Inc. consisted of a complete interior demolition of approximately 10,000 square feet of an existing exhibit building at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. Upon completion of the demolition the interior renovation began. Renovation work consisted of rerouting ductwork, re-establishing fire alarm systems, retrofitting the existing fire sprinkler systems, new interior metal stud/drywall walls, re-insulating the entire facility for sound attenuation, construction of new sound/projection panels, remodeling the entry way and marquee, painting, wall coverings and flooring. Work was performed daily with two-10 hour shifts for approximately three months. During the performance of this project, over 40 miles of wire was installed in the buildings wire-ways to support the vast electrical and communications systems required to support the new Constellation exhibit.
